this is a heartwarming depiction of the 2nd world war, that centers on the relationship between American and Navajo marines, and the protection of their unique cryptic code. Excellent story
I just can't believe I didn't see this movie when it first came out on the theaters. This is an amazing film. It also reminds me of Saving private Ryans but I find this movie more interesting because of the Navajo indians.
Well paced, great storyline with great acting by all! The end was so touching, truly a great movie so i give it 5/5 and putting it straight on my playlist!
good story and all, but the actual "war" in this movie was poory done. Arty shells that explode the size of frag grenades, and frag grenades that explode with the size of naval shells.. It really really cheepens the movie. Could have come out a lot better than it did. 2/5
Great movie, a movie you can take something from and i love how its based on true events. Im more into modern war movies but there are sum really good vietman/world war 1 and 2 movies and this is one of em. what else can i say its just really good and touching! 9/10
windtalkers has some of the most fake action ive seen since the 80's, guys runnin around shootin tommys like the gun dont kick give me a break, and his blood is orange!
This was a good movie based on actual events.I am glad that they have finally given recognition to the Navajo code talkers even though it has taken such a long time to recognize there contribution to WWII.God bless my Native American brothers.
This is a true story, however it is dissapointing in its aproach to the production and action sets.
Its ok, however its nothing special!
