i dont like the story itself becasue of how messed up and how it is not cliche but the actors did a very good job and it was very close to the book!! its not a typical love story its hate story which has only one redeeming quality which is forbidden love!! watching it one time is enough for me (to sad)!!
it's a good love story it's NOT "CUTE" in any way just a real love story that has people in the way of the real true lovers to live in happiness. very respectful love story for a true two duo who belong together.
I read the book a few months ago, and watching the film(which fallows the book very closely) helped clear up some details I was unclear on from the book alone. But this is one of the best movies/books I have ever seen, in my top 10, or 5, or 2.
Wow! I must say that is the best movie version that I have ever seen. I have read the book many times, and I have seen other film versions but I think this is the best film version so far. A very strong and emotional interpretation! Well done!
This movie was spectacular, the acting was breathtaking, and Tom Hardy will be the new hot thing in the movie scene, I haven't seen so much talent in several years, not only he's awesomely handsome with the sexiest voice I've ever heard, but his acting is amazing. I give this movie a 10/10. MUST WATCH.
In the best sense of the word a " haunting" version of WH. I dont know how
many times I have read the book, but I think this is the best film version I have ever seen. The intensity of Catherine and Heathcliff´s passion for each
other is presented with such clarity that one is swept into the heart of their
feelings. Wonderfully done. It will leave the true romantic breathless.
what a movie a love story in its self need to watgh this movie if you like a good love story not to many love stories in this life time loved it made me gry so sad 10/10i
I'm afraid like too many others, we've grown to expect the fairytale of 'happy endings'. This is not one of them. I remember my first experience of Wuthering Heights and how empty and sad I felt. This is a rich story which does evoke questions and thoughts far past the time of the movie and the book. I've seen several film adaptations and this one is very, very good.

I'm on my porch,looking for something to watch and I come across this movie and said " oh why not" .
Simply a wonderful way to spend a couple hours. So sad, so moving,so beautiful. A tragic story that keeps your attention to the very last second. I found it amazing how Heathclif went from being so ugly to not that bad to downright handsome in a space of 2 hours.
Whats really is amazing I told my daughter about this movie and she freaks out because it is mentioned so many times in the "Twilight" series. I had to laugh because its such a wonderful work of history and she knows it by a vampire flick.
Always thought the Bronte sisters had such depreesing storylines..nevertheless, of course it was poetic. The movie was alright for me. The actors were good-looking. And it was more subtle than the other version that had Ray(was it?) Fiennes in it which was better than I'd hoped..but then, the Bronte sisters' stories were hardly subtle. :D
